It took almost two years to complete this custom mount for the All Canada Shows. No other taxidermy company has tried the task of mounting two moose connected by a set of locked antlers. The most difficult task was making the mount strong enough to survive transportation between sportshows.
It took three attempts before we matched the locked horns to the steel reinforced manikin forms. After the forms were built we had to try to break them. If we could break them on a gravel road near our studio then they would surely break on the interstate.
All Canada supplied the trailer. They exceeded our design requirements. Thanks to this trailer the mount can be removed and set up by one person. Included in the display is a wolf, grouse and even a skunk.
One of the last minute changes we made was the plaque. Originally we were going to have a black and bronze nameplate molded into the base. The development team thought a bronze nameplate would take away from the natural setting. Instead we took one of the flat rocks from the display and engraved out our name and website. It is a more natural presentation and just as eye catching.
