From Highway 1 East: Once past Highway 101, Highway 1 turns into Fermor Avenue. Follow Fermor till you reach St. Mary’s Road. Turn right. Follow St. Mary’s Road till you get to Broadway Ave, turn left. Broadway is just over the bridge and is basically downtown Winnipeg. When you see the Manitoba Legislative building turn right onto Memorial Blvd. Keep following Memorial going north. This section of road changes name 3 times in just a few city blocks (Memorial – Colony – Balmoral). This section is also called Route 62. You will reach Notre Dame Avenue, Turn left. Follow Notre Dame Avenue till you reach 1380 Notre Dame Ave. A large Hawkins Taxidermists sign is on the left hand side of Notre Dame. If Notre Dame splits into what looks like two separate roads one going north and one straight and you have gone over some railroad tracks you have gone too far.
