From Highway 1 West: After you pass Highway 101, Highway 1 will turn into Portage Ave. Follow Portage Avenue a long way. You will eventually pass a large shopping mall called Polo Park. As soon as you see the mall, get into the right lane. Take the right hand off ramp/exit onto Empress Street. It is before the overpass. This exit will bend around and take you over Portage Avenue. Follow Empress until you get to the very end of the street. You will pass a Home depot, Wall Mart and several other shopping centers. Saskatchewan Avenue is at the end of Empress Street. Turn right. The road will bend North and this short road is called Midland Street. Midland Street runs into Notre Dame Ave. Turn Right. Hawkins Taxidermy is right after the turn on the right side.. A large Hawkins Taxidermists sign is on the right hand side of Notre Dame.
